Academic losses during the COVID-19 school closures could be particularly problematic for elementary and middle school students who should be in the process of laying critical foundations of reading, writing, and math. These skills should be built on for years to come and the break-in school routine could potentially be robbing a generation of students of vital stages of learning.
The quality of students’ work has declined in the last two months. Students that were strong writers in school are now missing things like capitals, and punctuation.
2020 summer needs to be spent wisely. We still have almost 3 months before the next school year starts. Let’s not ignore the COVID impact and help our children bridge the gap before it’s too late.

Panelist: Mrs. Eileen Mammen, Creator of English Bridge Program and Credentialed ELA Educator with over 20 years of teaching experience, will discuss the effective literary analysis and writing strategies and tips to help your child build confidence and be prepared for the next year.
