Hi all – Season Greetings!
2017 is coming to a close and what a year it has been! It was January 1st, 2017 when I decided to move forward with a neighborhood learning model for kids. I had been sitting on this idea for more than a year. It was a late morning after a New Year’s Eve party. We had a few friends who stayed over, and we ended up discussing our aspirations, goals, and future plans over chai. I got the much-needed nudge and inspiration to act upon this idea. And there is no looking back ever since!
It was a slow start as we figured things out and learned something new with each and every step. Now, as we speak, we are getting close to complete the development efforts and do a soft launch in mid-January 2018. Our entire team has been working feverishly over this whole holiday season. We listened to our prospective users and are getting ready to test our product-market fit in 3 suburban towns of San Francisco Bay Area- Dublin, San Ramon, and Pleasanton. Today, we are still entirely bootstrapped with a strong team of TEN passionate individuals who are on a mission to make the after-school learning convenient for parents and kids.
Education is critical for our kids and for our future. Our education system should transform and adapt to their needs and get them ready to lead this world. Technology is changing the way learning happens. Talentnook is a part of this movement and aspires to help the education industry evolve to what our future is demanding.
Teachers, tutors, and instructors – you are the ones who are shaping our future, and Talentnook is looking forward to teaming up with you, to provide you with the tools, to nurture our kids, to sustain this civilization.
Parents and students – Albert Einstein said: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.” We think our current education system is missing this point. We are coming soon to serve you, to make education more accessible and relevant to you. Stay tuned!
