With a low student-teacher ratio, each batch has 4 to 6 students only. This way, we ensure your child gets uninterrupted attention and guidance from teachers.

The Elements of Reading provides assessments that determine what reading level the student is, not their grade level. Through manipulatives and reinforcement, each student progresses through the grade level until there is mastery. Skill building is constantly improving over the course of the program.
Children will learn how to decipher and then read small words into larger and more complex words. Each level is ten (10) weeks long twice a week, and the entire program is a total of fifty (50) weeks or one hundred (100) sessions.
Phonemic awareness refers to the specific ability to focus on and manipulate individual sounds (phonemes) in spoken words. Five Levels of Phonological Awareness. Video focusing on five levels of phonological awareness: rhyming, alliteration, sentence segmenting, syllable blending, and segmenting.Some children pick it up naturally, but others need more help with it.
Students improve with their ability to understand the sounds of spoken language that work together to make words. Making words and putting them together leads to reading and then writing. Your child's progress is a partnership where it is viewed through homework, online class exercises, and teacher comments. Assessments will be done at regular intervals and reports provided to the parent at the end of each level.
Pre-assessment of specific skills aids the teacher in developing special exercises and experiences to help your child connect understanding and flourish skills in their determined areas of needs. The ongoing formative assessment through the sessions allows the teacher insight into where the student is developing phonemic understanding and where areas of reteaching will take place. The post-assessment at the end of each level, provides information of mastery in skills and where there may continue to be areas of needs.
Decodable text leads to comprehension. Reading comprehension is measured by a child's understanding of context to answer questions and write about the author's purpose.
