In this captivating program, students become history detectives, exploring famous leaders, their remarkable qualities, significant events, and contributions. They can choose their favorite leader, time period, or contribution, embarking on a journey to uncover the past. Our dedicated teachers bring history to life with engaging activities and interactive lessons, helping students develop critical thinking skills and a deeper appreciation for history. By investigating the past, students learn about historical events and figures, cultivating empathy and a passion for learning. This dynamic approach makes history educational, and exciting and fosters a lifelong appreciation for human stories.
What happens in the class
In this course, students will read and learn about influential people, their achievements, and their impacts. With hands-on activities, flashcards, and interactive presentations, young historians immerse themselves in the richness of the past. Each day presents exciting themes like Animals in Space, US Presidents, Women inventors, etc. This dynamic approach not only makes learning enjoyable but also fosters empathy and understanding as students connect with historical narratives. Each student will have their portfolio and the teacher will keep their work until the end of the session. The portfolios will then be returned to students, showcasing their skills and accomplishments at home.
