In this exciting program, students will dive into Building Puppets, using a variety of crafting techniques to design and create their unique characters. With expert guidance, they’ll develop storytelling skills while enhancing fine motor abilities through hands-on puppet-making. The excitement continues with Storytime Fun, where students practice expressive reading, experiment with voices, and explore movement to bring their characters to life. Through creativity and play, they’ll gain confidence in storytelling, foster imagination, and enjoy the magic of puppetry in an engaging, interactive environment.
What happens in the class
In each class, students will explore exciting themes like Discovering Characters, Building Puppets, and Storytime Fun. As they progress, they’ll engage in Rehearsing the Puppet Show, refining storytelling skills, building confidence, and preparing for a thrilling final performance. The course culminates in the Puppet Show Extravaganza, where students take center stage to showcase their handmade puppets in a lively performance for their peers. This experience blends English and Art, fostering creativity, collaboration, and a love for storytelling. Through hands-on activities and engaging performances, students develop confidence, expression, and imagination.
