WordSMASH! provides the perfect foundation for kids to unleash their understanding of alphabets, phonetics, sketches including sounds, and drawings to listen, laugh, and smile as their words flow. The course is crafted to combine learning with excitement, making language exploration an exhilarating game. The program incorporates a variety of interactive word games, challenges, and activities that stimulate critical thinking and creative expression. From puzzles to collaborative projects, they actively engage in learning and exploration. With WordSMASH!, learning becomes an adventure filled with laughter, smiles, and boundless excitement, as children revel in the joy of language discovery.
What happens in the class
Students will develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through a playful approach to language. Within each theme, students will engage with books, listening to stories, learning facts, and exploring text and images with partners. Our teachers will develop the curriculum in a way that includes discussions, list-making, and short writing tasks for idea-sharing and expression. Each student creates a portfolio filled with their dazzling creations after reading thematic stories, poems, and literature full of jokes, puzzles, word searches, themes, scrambled words, silly sagas, and funny situations and they receive their portfolio with all their work at the end of the session.
