Emotional and social impacts due to the COVID-19 school closures could be problematic for our children.
Schools were suspended in over 200 countries. 1.5 billion students worldwide have been impacted. Children have been deprived of the opportunity to interact with their friends and peers, something that is very important for their overall growth. Older students may have an easier time keeping social connections than their younger peers. Children are resilient and let’s hope they are back in school this fall.
Mrs. Eileen Mammen, a children’s book author, educator, and mentor talk about how you can help as a parent this summer.
Don’t miss such an insightful session.
